Lo primero que me llamó la atención en las BJD fué lo bonitas que son, la gran variedad de caras y tamaños que pueden tener y sobre todo, el hecho de que son totalmente personalizables, dejando al comprador toda libertad de escoger el color de ojos, pelo y piel que mas le gustara de cada muñeca.
Son muy caras y la espera desde que se compra una hasta que nos llega a casa es de varios meses, por no hablar del riesgo de que caigan en aduanas y las retengan, obligándonos a pagar más si queremos que las dejen libres, o de lo contrario devolverlas a su país de orígen a pesar de haberlas comprado ya.
Esto hace que sea difícil tener una BJD, haciendo que la apreciemos más cuando al fín la tenemos entre nuestras manos, después de toda la tensión que exige la espera y el riesgo.
Además, si una es aficionada a la fotografía puede apreciar a las BJD como pequeñas modelos que incluso superan a los humanos: ellas no envejecen, no se cansan ni se quejan durante las fotos, no sufren el frío ni el calor, no sudan, no tienen tabúes ni condiciones, no llegan tarde... ellas siempre están guapas y dispuestas a posar cuando se las necesita. Es por eso que yo suelo llamarlas "las modelos perfectas".
A pesar de ser objetos, a través de su mirada y expresividad ciertamente se puede notar que tienen alma, algo que poseen todos los objetos pero que es mucho más notable en las BJD, no en vano son creaciones asiáticas.

The first thing that caught my attention on the BJD was how beautiful they are, the variety of faces and sizes you can and above all, the fact that they are fully customizable, allowing the buyer complete freedom to choose the color of eyes, hair and skin that you like best about each wrist.
They are very expensive and the wait since I bought one until we get home is several months, not to mention the risk of falling into customs and hold them, forcing us to pay more if you want to be left free, or else hand them back to their home country, despite its already purchased.
This makes it difficult to get a BJD, making appreciate more when we finally have in our hands, after all the tension that requires waiting and risk.
Also, if one is fond of photography can appreciate the BJD as small models even outperform humans: they do not age, do not get tired or complain at the pictures, do not suffer from cold or heat, not Sudan, not have taboos or conditions, do not be late ... they are always beautiful and ready to pose when needed.
